about

Seventeen is about the struggles of moving into a new house/apartment and how hard it can be to actually find a place that you can call home.

lyrics

I've dismissed high and dry and tired thoughts.
The move is old, yet lying new with bricks untold.
My only thoughts are beautiful and disciplined,
but it's late.

You're late. Too late.

Emergency - I'll find this heart.
The urgency - I'll make it stop today.

You're late. Too late.

Finding common ground tonight.
Burying this shadow of light (of light).

On the first day, I found logic in ruins.
On the first day, (I know too well - I'm exactly like you - well over) I've seen tragic entombed.

You're late. Too late. You're late. Too late.

Acceptance fills the air with open arms.
I've been let down; an army grounded deep within.
My oldest memories are clear and beautiful, but it's late.

You're late. Too late.

On the first day, I found logic in ruins.
On the first day, (I know too well - I'm exactly like you - well over) I've seen tragic entombed.

You're late. Too late. You're late. Too late.
You're late. Too late. You're late. Too late.
